Pioneers in Data Linkage
Improving outcomes for the Western Australian community by putting linked data at the core of decision-making and research
We provide a range of services to facilitate access to linked data for approved purposes, including medical research and service evaluation.
We have linked over 150 million records from 50 routinely linked datasets, creating one of the most comprehensive linkage systems in the world.
Linked data can be requested for ethically approved research, planning, and evaluation projects for the benefit of our community.
We have a range of resources available to help you understand the linkage process, available datasets, ethical requirements, and our application process.
Data Linkage Strategy
The WA Health Data Linkage Strategy 2022-24, launched by the Honourable Minister Stephen Dawson in May 2023, is a plan to reform, modernise, simplify and improve access to health data, informing research that will ultimately benefit patients and the Western Australian community. See our Roadmap to learn more about Strategic projects and initiatives.
